(United States): On 19 December 2025, large groups of Cambodian-Americans from across the United States gathered outside the United Nations Headquarters in New York to submit a petition condemning Thailand’s military actions against Cambodia.
Participants came from multiple states and cities, including Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, D.C., New York City, and Texas, to voice concern over Thailand’s ongoing invasion and violations of Cambodia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The petition denounced Thailand’s military aggression as a serious breach of international law, the United Nations Charter, and the Kuala Lumpur Peace Accord, calling on the international community to take notice and respond.
Protesters urged global institutions and world leaders to uphold international norms, protect civilians, and take concrete action in response to grave violations committed by Thailand against Cambodia.
