(Phnom Penh): The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS) announced that as of 19 December 2025, a total of 13,210 displaced students have registered for temporary schooling at 2,033 educational institutions across 22 capital cities and provinces.

The ministry further noted that 1,091 schools located along the border in seven provinces have been closed, affecting 11,922 teachers and 254,480 students.
