(Washington): US Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke with Thai Foreign Minister Sihasak Phuangketkeow, according to a press release seen by Fresh News on Friday (Dec. 19).

Secretary Rubio underscored the United States’ concern regarding the continued violence along the Cambodian border and emphasized the immediate need to reduce tensions.

He urged Foreign Minister Sihasak to take concrete actions to de-escalate the situation and for Thailand to return to implementing the Kuala Lumpur Peace Accords.
