(Phnom Penh): Thousands of Cambodian citizens, including youths, and Buddhist monks, took part in a “March for Peace” on Thursday afternoon (Dec. 18), voicing public support for peace and calling for full respect for the ceasefire and peace agreement between Cambodia and Thailand.
The march was organised by the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia (UYFC) as a demonstration of national solidarity and a collective appeal for dialogue, restraint, and lasting peace.
Participants began the march at the Riverside Night Market and proceeded along the Chaktomuk pedestrian street before concluding at the Independence Monument.
