(Phnom Penh): Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement condemning the terrorist attack at Bondi Beach in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

"Cambodia is extremely shocked and saddened by the fatal shooting at Bondi Beach in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, on 14 December 2025," according to the statement seen by Fresh News on Tuesday (Dec. 16).

"We extend our profound sympathy and deepest condolences to the victims, their families, and all those affected by this tragic terrorist attack. We stand in solidarity with the Government and people of Australia during this difficult time and reaffirm our steadfast commitment to opposing violence and extremism in all their forms.

Cambodia strongly condemns this senseless act of violence, which resulted in the loss of innocent lives. Such acts of terrorism are both unacceptable and unjustifiable, and fundamentally contrary to the principles of peace, humanity, and coexistence."
