(Phnom Penh): The Ministry of National Defence informed the public of the latest developments along the Cambodia–Thailand border, reporting continued Thai military airstrikes targeting civilian infrastructure in Cambodia’s 5th Military Region.

According to the ministry, on Saturday (Dec. 13), Thai military forces launched air attacks in the area of Prey Chan Village, Ou Chrov District, Banteay Meanchey Province, as follows:

- At 4:00 p.m., Thai forces deployed an F-16 fighter jet to drop one bomb on Prey Chan Village.
- At 4:10 p.m., Thai forces again used an F-16 fighter jet to drop an additional bomb in the same area.
