(Battambang): Cambodian Ministry of National Defence reported the latest situation along the Cambodia–Thailand border, confirming that the Thai military launched an attack targeting Cambodian civilians in Military Region 5, Phnom Proek district, Battambang province.

- Between 11:15 a.m. and 11:56 a.m., Thai forces fired five artillery shells, using 100mm and 105mm cannons, into Chakrei commune, Phnom Proek district.
- At 11:30 a.m., Thai troops expanded ground operations, deploying additional forces and moving armoured vehicles into Ta Sda commune, Sampov Loun district.

The ministry added that the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces continue to withstand and repel the incursions, maintaining their position and fulfilling their duty to defend Cambodia’s territorial integrity.
