(Preah Vihear): As of 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday (Dec. 9), Preah Vihear province has recorded 5,069 displaced families, totalling 17,582 people, who have taken shelter at various designated safe centers after Thai military forces launched attacks on Cambodia’s sovereign territory.

In Preah Vihear province, under the direct leadership of Governor Kim Rithy, the provincial authorities have arranged eight safe centers to receive the displaced residents. At each center, local authorities and relevant forces are providing close attention and care, particularly regarding security, accommodation, essential supplies, and food, which continue to be distributed regularly.
