(Phnom Penh): Frank Hartmann, Director General for Asia Pacific of the Federal Foreign Office, issued a statement expressing concern over the recent violence along the Cambodia-Thailand border.
“I am deeply concerned about the recent violence along the Cambodia-Thailand border. Any casualties and damage are deplorable and increase the risk of escalation. I call upon both sides to immediately halt the conflict and work towards peaceful resolution, while prioritizing civilian safety,” according to a statement seen by Fresh News on Tuesday (Dec. 9).
