“The Ministry of Post and Telecommunications is implementing a project to establish and develop a Digital Park on about 100 hectares of land, with the goal of transforming Cambodia into a Digital Hub to promote digital transformation, entrepreneurship, innovation and skills development in the digital sector. He added that the ministry’s vision is to gradually turn Cambodia into a paperless society through the increased use of digital technologies that earn the trust of the public, while also enhancing Cambodia’s profile on the international stage. He emphasised that sustainable long-term development requires close cooperation and support from ministries, state institutions, the private sector, educational and research institutions, civil society, as well as bilateral, multilateral and global partnerships.

Representing the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications and the Digital Government Committee, the minister called on all relevant stakeholders, both domestic and international, to strengthen cooperation to harness the potential of digital technologies for improving the quality of life of all citizens.

Chea Vandeth further stated that the Digital Government Forum 2025 aims to share experiences in digital transformation and expand cooperation among policymakers, digital experts and practitioners across the region. The event also highlights the achievements of digital transformation efforts by governments worldwide to support new businesses, modernise education, provide robust data infrastructure, attract investment and build an ecosystem that links education and skills training with digital industries.
