(Phnom Penh): Located in Trapeang Pring Village, Trapeang Pring Commune, Dambe District, Tboung Khmum Province, Pho Vanna and her husband run a family-based pig farming business. Her story is one of determination, andlife-changing impact of financial empowerment.

In the past, Vanna and her family faced financial hardships. Plus, the couple has two children under their care, for whom they must provide daily needs and support their education. However, her strong will to improve her family’s livelihood motivated her to seek a sustainable financial solution.

Her turning point came when she decided to partner with LOLC Cambodia, a trusted financial institution committed to supporting Cambodians in achieving their goals. In 2023, she received her first loan from LOLC to purchase farmland for cashew cultivation. Seeing positive results, she applied for a second loan in 2025 to buy more pigs for breeding and selling. She also used part of the loan to purchase a motorbike to facilitate both her farming operations and family’s daily needs.

Within just two years, Vanna’s hard work and wise use of LOLC’s financial support have paid off. Her pig-raising and farming businesses have grown significantly, increasing her family’s income, improving their living conditions, and giving them greater financial stability.

With a bright smile, Vanna expressed her sincere appreciation to LOLC Cambodia for providing exceptional financial services that helped her achieve her goals. She proudly shared how LOLC’s support became the foundation for her family’s progress and a source of pride for their achievements.

Her success story is a clear example that with hard work, determination, and access to the right financial partner, families in rural Cambodia can build better futures and improve their livelihoods sustainably.
