(Phnom Penh): Energy and determination filled the National Incubation Center of Cambodia (NICC) as more than 150 young participants gathered for the “DYNAMIC Entrepreneur Leadership Dialogue and Panel Discussion”, coming together for an inspiring exchange of ideas and real-world lessons in entrepreneurship. The event, which will be held on 31 October 2025, is a key activity under the broader Developing Youth and Nurturing Agripreneurship for Market Impact and Community Growth (DYNAMIC) initiative, funded by a USD 2.45 million grant from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and jointly implemented by ChildFund Korea, Wonders International, National Incubation Center of Cambodia, and the Royal University of Agriculture.

The event, designed to empower youth to explore business opportunities, build an entrepreneurial mindset, and connect with role models from Cambodia’s growing innovation ecosystem, the event offered participants a meaningful platform to learn from experienced founders.

The half-day program began with inspirational talks from the three speakers, followed by a Startup Showcase featuring student-led innovations. A panel discussion then offered deeper insights and audience interaction, concluding with a participatory quiz session that wrapped up the event on an energetic note.

Opening the speaker sessions, Norng Rithy, Co-Founder & CEO of TapApp, a leading long-distance taxi service in Cambodia, set the tone with an energizing message about confidence, passion, and continuous learning. Encouraging youth to “believe in yourself and love what you do,” he emphasized starting small, staying flexible, listening carefully to customers, and nurturing creativity. His practical insights resonated strongly with participants, many of whom felt more prepared to take their first entrepreneurial steps.

Following this, Eng Samphors, Founder & CEO of Aliments, inspired the audience with her journey as a young woman building a sustainable food business in Cambodia. She reminded participants that “growth comes from purpose and patience, not quick success,” urging them to pursue meaningful impact over status. She highlighted that innovation “doesn’t always need big capital — it needs curiosity and courage,” stressing that entrepreneurship is less about being fully prepared and more about being willing to start, adapt, and grow with integrity.

Continuing the momentum, Dongjin Moon, Country Director of Glory & Tech Cambodia Office, a company providing clean water and renewable energy solutions, delivered a thoughtful message framing entrepreneurship as a mission-driven pursuit. Encouraging youth to reflect deeply on their purpose, he asked, “Who will you serve, and how can you serve sustainably?” He emphasized that true entrepreneurs are defined by their spirit — identifying real problems and solving them through sustainable processes and systems.

On the experiential side, the event featured a Startup Showcase highlighting student-led and youth-driven projects in technology and agriculture, where participants explored business models, tested prototypes, and engaged with founders. A lively panel discussion followed, with the three speakers sharing insights on Cambodia’s entrepreneurial challenges and opportunities. Participants appreciated the honest conversations on risk-taking, innovation, leadership, and market realities, while a participatory quiz provided a dynamic and memorable close, reinforcing key messages in a fun and interactive way.

Reflecting on the impact, many attendees shared that the event boosted their confidence, clarified their goals, and motivated them to pursue business ideas they had long considered. Several participants expressed appreciation for the practical advice, real stories of resilience, and opportunities to connect directly with mentors and founders.
