(Phnom Penh): Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet had a telephone discussion with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim to discuss the continued pursuit of a peaceful resolution to the Cambodia–Thailand border conflict.

Samdech Thipadei wrote on his social media on Friday (Nov. 14) as follows:

"This afternoon, I had a telephone discussion with His Excellency Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia. We discussed the continued pursuit of a peaceful resolution to the Cambodia–Thailand border conflict. I expressed my sincere thanks to His Excellency Anwar for continuing to play an important and active role in facilitating and seeking a peaceful resolution between Cambodia and Thailand.

Cambodia remains committed to resolving the border issues through peaceful means, using the existing mechanisms and agreed principles—especially in line with the spirit of the Kuala Lumpur Joint Declaration of 26 October 2025—in order to bring an end to the conflict and build peace between the two countries."
