(Siem Reap): Since its inauguration on 19 May 2022, the Angkor Botanical Garden, managed by the APSARA National Authority, has been diligently maintained, developed, and continuously enhanced to increase its attractiveness. It has since become a popular supplementary tourist destination beyond the ancient temple complexes.

Open to the public free of charge, the garden aims to contribute to the promotion of Cambodia’s tourism sector while improving the well-being of both residents and visitors. It offers a vast green space with fresh air, which is a great place for leisure walks, exercise, and learning about Cambodia’s rich biodiversity and natural environment.

Under the clear vision of the Royal Government of Cambodia, over the past three years, this nature-focused garden has expanded across nearly 200 hectares within the Angkor World Heritage Site. As the largest botanical garden in the Kingdom, it has captured the hearts of around 600,000 local and international visitors, who come to explore and learn about the country’s diverse flora and fauna.
