(Ankara): On 3 November 2025, in Ankara, Türkiye, Cham Nimul, Cambodian Minster of Commerce, met with Hasan Gümüş, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yayla Company.

To begin, the chairman expressed his deep gratitude and respect to commerce minister and the Cambodian delegation for visiting Yayla. The company also expressed its interest in importing rice, cashew nuts, dried fruits and other nuts from Cambodia for processing to supply the needs of the Turkish market and exporting to European and Middle Eastern markets.

In response, the minister warmly welcomed the company’s proposal to find suppliers and business partners in Cambodia and further informed about the potential and characteristics of Cambodian agricultural products, especially rice and cashew nuts, and will forward the company’s proposal to the private sector, producers and suppliers in Cambodia to connect with the company and study the possibility of exporting to the Turkish market.

It is also worth noting that Yayla is one of the largest and most diversified grain importers and food producers in Turkey, established in 1996, with a production capacity of approximately 1 million tons of food products per year and more than 60,000 retail points in Türkiye and the European Union
