(Oddar Meanchey): The first phase of heavy weapon withdrawal between the Cambodian and Thai armies is set to begin simultaneously at 6:00 p.m. on 1 November 2025, with the weapons being transported from the disputed border areas back to their respective bases.
The preparation for the withdrawal is being conducted under the observation and verification of the ASEAN Observer Team (AOT).
During the Cambodia–Thailand Regional Border Committee (RBC) meeting on the afternoon of 31 October 2025, both sides agreed to withdraw three types of heavy weapons from the border. The first phase of the adjustment process for heavy weapons will take place over a period of three weeks — from 1 to 21 November 2025 — under the observation and verification of the ASEAN Observer Team (AOT).
