(Phnom Penh): Following the conclusion of the 2nd Special Meeting of the Cambodia-Thailand General Border Committee (GBC), which was held on the morning of 23 October 2025, Cambodian Defence Minister Tea Seiha attended a tri-lateral meeting with Mohamed Khaled Bin Nordin, Minister of National Defence of Malaysia, and Nattaphon Nakphanit, Minister of National Defence of the Kingdom of Thailand.

The three parties agreed to continue their efforts to maintain the momentum for the restoration of peace between Cambodia and Thailand through key mechanisms adopted during the 2nd Special GBC Meeting this morning. Cambodia also expressed appreciation for the effective efforts of Malaysia in facilitating recent negotiations between Cambodia and Thailand.
