(Phnom Penh): The Kingdom of Cambodia welcomes the Peace Agreement in Gaza, signed on 13 October 2025 in Egypt, by President Donald J. Trump of the United States of America, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani of the State of Qatar, and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of the Republic of Türkiye.
Cambodia commends the leadership of U.S. President Donald Trump and all mediators for their tireless efforts in achieving this outcome and hopes the Peace Agreement will pave the way for a lasting peace and a return to normalcy for both sides, according to a statement issued by Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation on Friday night (Oct. 17).
Cambodia reaffirms its support for the two-state solution and encourages all parties to pursue dialogue in line with relevant UN resolutions and international law.
