(Jakarta): During an international media visit on October 15, 2025, tiket.com, Indonesia’s leading online travel agency (OTA), revealed its ambitions to strengthen regional collaboration, particularly with Cambodia and Laos.
Founded in 2011, tiket.com has grown from a small startup selling hotel and concert tickets into one of Southeast Asia’s most trusted travel platforms, serving more than 50 million users. It offers access to 116 airline partners, 3.6 million accommodations, and over 77,000 travel activities, making it a one-stop solution for travelers across the region. The company is also part of the Blibli Group, a major Indonesian digital ecosystem listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX: BELI).
According to Gaery Undarsa, Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer of tiket.com, both Cambodia and Laos present exciting opportunities for tourism growth and cultural exchange. “These markets share similar warmth and potential that deeply resonate with Indonesian travelers,” he said.
tiket.com’s expansion plans include forging partnerships with local airlines, hotels, and digital payment platforms to make travel easier and more connected across ASEAN. Its strategic alliance with Accor Group, which operates hotels in both Cambodia and Laos, already allows tiket.com users to access a broader range of quality accommodations.
Currently, AirAsia remains the only carrier offering direct flights between Indonesia and these destinations. By collaborating with regional partners, tiket.com aims to open more flight routes, encourage cross-border travel, and contribute to the growth of Cambodia’s and Laos’s tourism ecosystems.
Through innovation, trust, and partnership, tiket.com continues its mission to make travel easy, affordable, and accessible for everyone, expanding Indonesia’s digital travel success story across Southeast Asia.
