(Phnom Penh): In the first nine months of 2025, the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) approved a total of 546 investment projects worth USD 7.8 billion, according to a press release seen by Fresh News on Wednesday (Oct. 2).

The approved projects are expected to generate around 376,000 jobs.

Specifically, in September 2025 alone, the CDC approved a total of 55 investment projects, amounting to approximately USD 467 million in capital, with the potential to create around 37,000 jobs.

Among the total investment projects, there are 38 projects located outside the Special Economic Zones, and 17 projects located within the Special Economic Zones.
