(Phnom Penh): KB PRASAC Bank proudly announced its sponsorship of Financial Street Program Season 3, a flagship financial literacy campaign in Cambodia. The official launch of this program was presided over by Mak Reaksmy, Deputy Director General of Regulation and Financial Inclusion and Director of the Regulation Department of the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC), on behalf of Chea Serey, Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia.
Launched in 2023 with the support of the National Bank of Cambodia, Financial Street is a nationwide financial literacy program co-founded by the Association of Banks in Cambodia (ABC), Cambodia Microfinance Association (CMA), Credit Bureau of Cambodia (CBC), and Apsara Media Services (AMS).
The campaign uses talk shows, short videos, public events, and wide distribution across traditional and digital media to make financial knowledge more accessible. It focuses on practical skills such as saving, budgeting, planning, borrowing wisely, and debt management, with the goal of empowering young people, business owners, and families to make informed financial decisions and build a stronger future.
Beyond sponsorship, KB PRASAC Bank actively contributed to the launch event, with its representative joining a panel discussion and providing media interviews to highlight the importance of financial literacy.
