(Phnom Penh): US Embassy Phnom Penh announced on their social media that its Facebook account will not be updated regularly until full operations resume, except for urgent safety and security information.

The embassy wrote on Wednesday (Oct. 1) as follows:

“Due to the lapse in appropriations, this U.S. Embassy Phnom Penh, Cambodia Facebook account will not be updated regularly until full operations resume, except for urgent safety and security information. At this time, scheduled passport and visa services at U.S. Embassy Phnom Penh will continue during the lapse in appropriations as the situation permits. For updates on our services and operating status, please visit travel.state.gov.”
