(Banteay Meanchey): On the morning of Tuesday, 30 September 2025, Thai soldiers escorted surveyors toward border marker No. 46, located in the sugarcane fields of Chouk Chey village, Ou Beichoan commune, Ou Chrov district, Banteay Meanchey province. They were immediately blocked by unarmed Cambodian forces, who successfully prevented the surveying. The Thai soldiers subsequently withdrew.

Later that morning, another group of Thai soldiers attempted to advance on border marker No. 47. However, Cambodian frontline forces, along with local residents who own and live on the land, stood firm to protect national territory.

Following the withdrawal of Thai troops, the situation returned to calm. However, Cambodian landowners remain on high alert, determined to defend their land and homes.

It should be noted that since 12 August, Thai forces have widened the conflict zone by erecting barbed wire and barricades, issuing ultimatums, and forcibly evicting Cambodian civilians from long-settled lands in Chouk Chey and Prey Chan villages of Banteay Meanchey Province, which is located at north-western part of Cambodia, a few hundred kilometers away from the above conflict zones.
