(Banteay Meanchey): On Monday morning (Sep. 15), Cambodian Ministry of National Defence facilitated the Interim Observer Team (IOT), led by Colonel Mohd Farid Bin Mohd Yusop, Team Site Leader No. 2 (TS-2), based in Banteay Meanchey Province, to conduct an on-site inspection a field inspection at the Boeung Trakuon checkpoint following the ceasefire agreement.

The mission aimed to observe, verify, and report on the situation.

It is also worth noting that the IOT mission stemmed from the outcomes of the special meeting held on 28 July 2025, in Putrajaya, Malaysia, and the Extraordinary Meeting of the Cambodia–Thailand General Border Committee (GBC) concluded on 7 August 2025.
