(Phnom Penh): At the invitation of Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni, Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr., President of the Republic of the Philippines, accompanied by First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos, will pay a State Visit to the Kingdom of Cambodia from 7-9 September 2025.

"During the visit, Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr. will meet with Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Acting Head of State, and hold a bilateral meeting with Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, at the Peace Palace. President Marcos Jr. and both Cambodian leaders will engage in an in-depth discussion on strengthening warm relations and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation. They are expected to also exchange views on regional and international issues of common interest. Several bilateral cooperation documents will also be signed during this visit," according to the press release seen by Fresh News on Thursday (Sep. 4).

"The president of the Philippines will lay wreaths at the Independence Monument and at the Royal Memorial of Cambodian late king father Norodom Sihanouk.

The state visit of President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr. will further strengthen the ties of friendship and solidarity, along with cooperation across all fields between the two nations and peoples."
