(Pursat): On Wednesday (Sep. 3), the Ministry of National Defence has facilitated the Interim Observer Team (IOT) led by Colonel Nazlee Bin Abdul Rahim, Defence Attaché of Malaysia to the Kingdom of Cambodia, to inspect the actual situation of the border at Chor Muoy in Ekpheap Village, Thma Da Commune, Veal Veng District, Pursat Province.
They examined 21 shell craters caused by Thai firing in Thma Da Commune, Veal Veng District, Pursat Province.
It is also worth noting that the IOT mission stemmed from the outcomes of the special meeting held on 28 July 2025, in Putrajaya, Malaysia, and the Extraordinary Meeting of the Cambodia–Thailand General Border Committee (GBC) concluded on 7 August 2025.
