(Phnom Penh): Cambodian President of the National Assembly Khuon Sudary sent a congratulatory letter to Vietnamese Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man on the occasion of the 80th National Day.
“On behalf of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia and on my own behalf, I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to you, your colleagues and the fraternal Vietnamese people on the solemn occasion of the 80th National Day,” according to the letter seen by Fresh News on Tuesday (Aug. 26).
“I have observed with great satisfaction with the enduring ties between Cambodia and Viet Nam, built on the motto of “traditional friendship, good-neighbourliness, comprehensive cooperation and long-term sustainability, which have deepened with renewed strengths over the years, and I am convinced that these existing ties, particularly between the two legislatures, will unquestionably strengthen for the mutual benefits of our neighbouring peoples.
The National Assembly of Cambodia wishes to reaffirm its unwavering commitment to peace, stability and lasting prosperity not only for our two nations, but also for the region and beyond.
Please accept, Honourable Chairman, the assurances of my highest consideration, and my best wishes for your good health and continued success, as well as the continued progress and lasting prosperity of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.”
