(Phnom Penh): Based on information from different sources, at 10:00 a.m. on 13 August 2025, Thai authorities closed schools and sent students back home to prepare for the evacuation of residents living in Dan Village, Dan Commune, Kap Choeng District, Surin Province, to safer areas.

According to the same sources, the Thai Army planned to attack Cambodia on the night of August 13 and in the morning of August 14, 2025, by mobilizing their military forces and heavy weaponry, including multiple armored vehicles, to the Cambodian-Thai border areas so as to renew their acts of aggression against the sovereign territory of Cambodia.

These activities clearly show that the Thai side has repeatedly violated the ceasefire agreement reached during the special meeting on 18 July 2025, as well as the terms and conditions agreed upon during the Extraordinary General Border Committee (GBC) meeting on August 7, 2025, in Malaysia.
