(Phnom Penh): At the invitation of Wang Yi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, Prak Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia, will lead a delegation to attend the 10th Mekong-Lancang Cooperation (MLC) Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, to be held on 14-15 August 2025 in Anning, Yunnan Province, China.

“During the 10th MLC Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, the Ministers will review the progress made under the Five-Year Plan of Action for Mekong-Lancang Cooperation (2023-2027), set future directions to widen cooperation, and strengthen the bonds of friendship and mutual support among Mekong-Lancang member countries, in the spirit of advancing sustainable development and enhancing social and cultural connectivity in the Mekong-Lancang sub-region,” according to the press release seen by Fresh News on Monday (Aug. 11).

“On the sidelines of the meeting, Minister Prak Sokhonn is expected to hold bilateral talks with Wang Yi and other counterparts to further deepen ties and collaboration under both bilateral and multilateral frameworks.”
