(Phnom Penh): Cambodian Senate President Hun Sen used the phrase “Don’t Thai to me” in response to some Thais who frequently comment on every post he makes on Facebook.
Samdech Techo wrote on his official social media on Sunday (Aug. 10).
“This morning I posted about my golf activity. I did not expect that a Thai newspaper would publish it, which shows that some Thais regularly follow my activities.
From my observation, whenever I post something, more than 5 per cent of viewers are Thais, and the highest proportion was when I posted about the use of rubber slingshots as a weapon with 17.1 per cent of viewers being Thai.
On every post I make, there are always some bad Thais who disturb me with comments in Thai or English, carrying negative meanings towards Cambodia. I do not delete them, but sometimes I briefly reply: (Don’t Thai to me).”
