(Preah Vihear): Sok Santara, Deputy Governor of Preah Vihear Province, who is overseeing Wat Po 5000 Trees Safety Centre in Koulen Tboung Village, Koulen Tboung Commune, Koulen District, said that as of Wednesday (Aug. 6), the centre is sheltering 5,331 displaced families, equivalent to 19,331 individuals, including more than 6,000 children that most of whom are from Koulen District.

The deputy governor affirmed that Cambodian Senate President Hun Sen, Samdech Bun Rany Hun Sen, and Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, along with his spouse and Governor of Preah Vihear Province Kim Rithy have shown great care and have continuously guided the working teams on the ground to provide the highest level of attention to the displaced people, especially in terms of food supplies, health and hygiene, security, and safety.
