(Japan): On Sunday (Aug.3), around 500 members of the Cambodian community and migrant workers in Japan gathered to express their gratitude to US President Donald Trump for encouraging a ceasefire between Cambodia and Thailand.

As part of the gathering, participants also submitted a petition to the Thai Embassy in Japan, urging the Thai government to resolve the border dispute peacefully through the International Court of Justice (ICJ), and to return the detained Cambodian soldiers to their homeland.
