(Phnom Penh): Pen Bona, Delegate Minister and Head of the Royal Government’s Spokesperson Unit, reaffirmed Cambodia’s unwavering respect for the 28 July 2025 ceasefire, carried out with strong commitment, patience, and in full accordance with peace principles and international law.

Speaking on recent disinformation campaigns, Pen Bona warned of fake Facebook accounts using Khmer names but operated by non-Khmer individuals. He called this a deliberate tactic to sow division and weaken national unity. He urged the public to remain alert and not fall victim to such schemes.

Pen Bona emphasized that Cambodians at home and abroad stand united in defending the nation’s territorial integrity and dignity. He called on all Cambodians to continue safeguarding this powerful spirit of national unity to ensure its lasting strength.
