(Phnom Penh): On 29 July 2025, more than 200 Cambodian nationals and supporters staged a rally in front of the United Nations Office in Geneva to denounce Thailand’s recent military aggression against Cambodia.

Dara In, who was one of the protesters, reported as follows:

“Dear LCTs and Excellencies.

I wish to report that on 29 July 2025, despite the absence of formal authorisation from Swiss authorities due to short notice, over 200 Cambodian patriots and friends across Switzerland gathered in succession in front of the United Nations in Geneva to protest Thailand’s recent military aggression.

They rejected Thailand’s actions, called for respect for the ceasefire and peaceful dispute resolution—particularly through the ICJ—and urged the UN and international community to press Thailand to return to diplomacy and international law.

They also expressed readiness to reconvene in greater numbers over the weekend if necessary.”
