(Preah Vihear): As of 22:50 local time on 28 July 2025, Thai military forces continued shelling Cambodian territory despite a ceasefire agreement scheduled to take effect at midnight. Intense artillery fire was reported across multiple frontlines in Oddar Meanchey and Preah Vihear provinces.

In Oddar Meanchey, the affected areas included Prasat Ta Moan, Prasat Ta Krabey, Thmar Daun, and O Smach. In Preah Vihear province, shelling continued in 5 Makara, Phnom Trob, Ta Thav, and Phnom Kmoch.

Notably, Thai aircraft reportedly carried out aerial bombardments on Phnom Khmoch, indicating a significant escalation in the use of military force.

Cambodia and Thailand have agreed to an immediate and unconditional ceasefire, which is set to come into effect at midnight 28 July 2025. The situation remains tense as the region awaits the implementation of the ceasefire.
