(Phnom Penh): Fresh AI, Cambodia’s first Khmer-language artificial intelligence news application, has seen a remarkable surge in user engagement, receiving 35,558 questions and content searches within just 24 hours of its official mobile app launch.

Developed by Lim Chea Vutha, Founder of Fresh AI, marks a significant step forward for Cambodian tech innovation.

In addition, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate of Cambodia, praised the platform and called on citizens to embrace it as a symbol of national pride and digital self-reliance.

“I’ve used Fresh AI myself. It’s simple and user-friendly — just click and ask questions in Khmer about world events or any area of general knowledge,” Samdech Techo shared on his official Facebook page. “The app responds quickly with concise answers and multiple useful links. It serves as both an AI assistant and a search engine like Google.”

Fresh AI is the first AI-powered Khmer-language news platform officially launched in Cambodia. It is the third major tech product developed by Lim Chea Vutha, following the success of Fresh News and CoolApp. All three projects represent major milestones in homegrown digital innovation and stand as testaments to Cambodia’s growing technological ambition.
