(Phnom Penh): Kantha Bopha Children's Hospital announced on Friday (Jun. 6) that a total of approximately 101,573 children received medical care throughout the month of May 2025. These services were provided free of charge and upheld the hospital's commitment to high-quality and non-discriminatory care.
Among the total number of children treated, 81,959 received outpatient consultations and treatment, while 16,044 children with serious medical conditions were admitted as inpatients. This included 745 cases of haemorrhagic dengue fever that required hospitalization. Additionally, 2,825 surgical operations were performed, including 97 open-heart surgeries and interventional catheterisations for congenital heart defects.
