(Phnom Penh): Cambodian Senate President Hun Sen encouraged all Cambodians to use Fresh AI, the country’s first Khmer-language smart news application, highlighting it as a proud national innovation and a tool to showcase Cambodia’s technological progress.

Samdech Techo shared that he has personally used the app, describing it as intuitive and convenient. Users can simply type questions in Khmer to receive instant responses on a wide range of topics, including current events and general knowledge.

Samdech Techo wrote on Thursday (Jun. 5) on his official Facebook page, “I have used Fresh AI, Cambodia’s first Khmer-language smart news application. It’s easy to use, just type your questions in Khmer about global events or any other topic, and it quickly provides summarised answers along with multiple related information links. This app functions as both an AI assistant and a search engine, like Google, whenever we need to look up information.”

Fresh AI is built on a database of over 400 million Khmer words, equivalent to more than 500,000 articles, and is updated daily. This constant expansion not only enhances the app’s intelligence but also increases the breadth and depth of its informational coverage.
