(Kuala Lumpur): Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet recieved a courtesy call by Shamir Kumar Nandy, Managing Director of Bin Zayed International (M) Berhad on 27 May 2025, on the sidelines of the 46th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
During the meeting, Shamir Kumar Nandy expressed his sincere gratitude to Samdech Thipadei for the opportunity to pay a courtesy call. He shared that BZI operates across the region and in several countries, with core business activities spanning real estate, financial services, clean energy, healthcare, and education.
He added that, given Cambodia’s favorable investment climate, BZI is keen to explore potential investment opportunities in the country.
For his part, Prime Minister Hun Manet welcomed the company’s interest and highlighted the Royal Government’s commitment to promoting investment. He underlined the ongoing efforts to create a conducive business environment through the implementation of a flexible, practical, and investor-friendly Law on Investment and related policies.
The premier also identified several high-potential sectors for investment and encouraged BZI to engage with the relevant ministries and institutions to explore tangible opportunities in Cambodia.
