Kampong Cham (FN), Dec. 21 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet announced that in the coming days, the Royal Government will take steps to integrate the data systems of state institutions to streamline access to comprehensive information.

The premier spoke on Saturday (Dec. 21) at the inauguration ceremony declaring Kampong Cham Province as completing systematic land measurement and title deed distribution.

The premier underlined the importance of robust data protection measures. “With the shift from physical cabinets to cloud storage, ensuring strong security systems is critical to address future challenges,” he stated.

Meanwhile, Samdech Thipadei highlighted that the government plans to establish an integrated data system, allowing ministries to share information more efficiently. Currently, each ministry operates its own system, but the new initiative will consolidate and connect these databases.

On the occasion, Prime Minister Hun Manet added that the government had already launched the CamDX system earlier this year. He mentioned that yesterday, a meeting was held with the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) to discuss integrating investment-related data from various ministries, including the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Land. This effort aims to simplify access for investors, enabling them to log in and retrieve all necessary information with ease, thereby streamlining investment processes.
