Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 12 – Cambodian Senate President, Samdech Techo Hun Sen extended his sincere appreciation to Tran Thanh Man, President of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam for the congratulatory letter dated 6 November 2024 on the occasion of the 71st Anniversary of the Independence Day of the Kingdom of Cambodia.

"I would like to extend my sincere appreciation for your congratulatory letter dated 6 November 2024 on the occasion of the 71st Anniversary of the Independence Day of the Kingdom of Cambodia," according to the letter seen by Fresh News on Tuesday (Nov. 12).

"I am very pleased that Cambodia and Viet Nam have enjoyed the fruitful development of very close relations, friendship and solidarity with good cooperation in all dimensions, which have brought substantial mutual benefits to our two countries and peoples.

On behalf of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia, I would like to reaffirm our commitment to continue to work closely with Your Excellency and the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam to further strengthen and deepen our bilateral and multilateral parliamentary cooperation and enhance our existing relations under the motto of 'good neighbourliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive, sustainable and long-term cooperation."
