Kep (FN), Nov. 11 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet said that the "Techo Santepheap Angkol Beach Road" in Kep Province is a vital artery for connecting the tourism community, speaking on Monday (Nov. 11).

Samdech Thipadei noted that "Techo Santepheap Ankol Beach Road" directly benefits approximately 6,000 households. This road connects the interior of Kep province and provides access to the border with Viet Nam.

"The Techo Santepheap Angkol Beach Road is Kep's coastal tourist route, playing a significant role in facilitating transportation for over 6,000 households," the premier underscored.

Samdech Thipadei also expressed his pleasure at attending the inauguration of Techo Santepheap Angkol Beach Road and congratulated the residents of Kep province on this new achievement. Techo Santepheap Angkol Beach Road is a post-term accomplishment, constructed during the tenure of Samdech Techo Hun Sen as Prime Minister and approved during the leadership of Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet.

The Techo Santepheap Angkol Beach Road, with a total length of 12,645 meters, stretches through Kep Village and Angkol Village in Angkol Commune, Damnak Chang Eur District, Kep Province. It is part of the tourism infrastructure project for environmental growth under the Greater Mekong Subregion Phase 2, managed by the Ministry of Tourism.

This road runs along the coast of Kep Province, linking Kep City to the tourism and fishing communities in Angkol Commune. It also passes through agricultural areas, salt fields, and mangrove forests.

Additionally, the road connects with Provincial Road 1332, which leads from Damnak Chang Eur District to Kampot Province (near the Cambodia-Viet Nam border), as well as other road infrastructure within Kep Province that links to the downtown area, villages, and other regions.
