Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 7 – Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra thanked Cambodian Senate President, Samdech Techo Hun Sen for his congratulatory letter upon her appointment as the Prime Minister of Thailand.

"I have the honour to express my appreciation for Samdech Techo's congratulatory letter upon my appointment as the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand. Your message is a great source of support and encouragement as I assume my new responsibility," according to the letter seen by Fresh News on Thursday (Nov. 7).

"I am pleased that Thailand-Cambodia relations have gone from strength to strength. I look forward to working closely with Samdech Thipadei Prime Minister to further strengthen our cooperation and partnership for the mutual benefits for our two countries and peoples.

I also stand ready to support the deepening of cooperation between Thailand and Cambodia in all areas, including the cooperation between the legislative branches of our two countries."
