Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 5 – The Ministry of Commerce officially inaugurated the Export Service Centre (ESC) to promote the product of Cambodia and expand its potential in international markets. The ESC aims to support exporters by providing critical insights, including training on export procedures and networking opportunities with experts and buyers in target markets.
The ceremony was held on Tuesday (Nov. 5) at the Ministry of Commerce, presided over by Minister of Commerce Cham Nimul. The event was attended by diplomats in Cambodia, representatives from relevant ministries and institutions, the private sector, and numerous development partners.
The establishment of the ESC is a new initiative by the Ministry of Commerce, in collaboration with the Centre for the Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries (CBI), aimed at promoting Cambodian exports and helping traders prepare for international markets. The ESC also encourages traders to build confidence and competitiveness in the global market.
Business representatives and owners who wish to learn more about export-related procedures are encouraged to contact the Export Service Centre, located at the Ministry of Commerce during business hours, call the ministry hotline at 1266, or visit the website: https://exportservicecenter.moc.gov.kh.
