Phnom Penh (FN), Oct. 20 – Cambodian Senate President Samdach Techo Hun Sen sent a congratulatory letter to Prabowo Subianto on his inauguration as President of the Republic of Indonesia.

“On behalf of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia and my own behalf, I am delighted to extend my warmest congratulations on your inauguration as President of the Republic of Indonesia,” according to the letter seen by Fresh News on Sunday (Oct. 20).

“It is my firm conviction that you will perform this new role very effectively thanks to your leadership competence, extensive public sector experience, and commitment to the betterment of your nation and people in addition to the support from the people.

I also firmly believe that as President of the Republic of Indonesia, you will continue to further strengthen and expand the relations between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Republic of Indonesia, which was established in 1957.

I look forward to closely working with you, your administration, and the Regional Representative Council (DPD) of the Republic of Indonesia to further enhance the cooperation between our governments and parliaments for mutual benefits for our two peoples and nations.
