Sydney (FN), Oct. 14 – Cambodia has been ranked 19th out of 27 countries in terms of power in Asia, according to the Lowy Institute’s 2024 Asia Power Index.

The report highlighted the United States, China, India, Japan, and Australia as the five most powerful nations in the region.

The 2024 Asia Power Index evaluates countries based on two key areas including resources and influence. The resource assessment includes economic capacity, military capability, resilience, and future resources, while the influence assessment covers economic relationships, defence networks, diplomatic influence, and cultural influence.
