Phnom Penh (FN), Sep. 26 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet advised Cambodian graduates to continuously develop their capacity and generate creative ideas regularly to achieve successful results, speaking on Thursday (Sep. 26) during a graduation ceremony for 3,530 students of the Royal University of Law and Economics (RULE) in Phnom Penh.
"Before assuming this position, I served as the Chief of the Army (Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces) and the Deputy Commander-in-Chief. The values my parents instilled in me guide my efforts to avoid repeating mistakes. However, self-reflection is essential; if we remain like an ice man—stagnant and unchanging—we eventually melt under the sun. Knowledge, on the other hand, must continuously expand and grow," the premier underscored.
Samdech Thipadei stated, “In school, you aim for 100% on your exams, but in the real world, you must give 120% to succeed. You need to be creative, exceed expectations, and continuously research and develop new methods to improve systems."
On the occasion, Samdech Thipadei added that all graduates shall consistently enhance their knowledge through ongoing research and learning, contributing to the development of high-potential and productive human resources, building digital citizens in Cambodia to maximize the benefits of digital transformation, and contributing in the establishment of Cambodia's new growth model that is based on skills, technology, and innovation.
