Phnom Penh (FN), Sep. 16 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet affirmed that the Phnom Penh Capital Administration has arranged 56 buses to provide free transportation for citizens traveling to the northeastern provinces during the upcoming Pchum Ben Festival.
The premier spoke on Monday (Sep. 16) during a groundbreaking ceremony of Calmette Hospital's new buildings.
"This year, the Phnom Penh Capital Administration has prepared 56 free buses to transport citizens to the northeastern provinces, including Kratie, Stung Treng, Ratanakkiri, and Mondulkiri during the Pchum Ben Festival," the premier underscored.
At the same time, the premier announced that the Phnom Penh Capital Administration will also provide 500 free public buses for citizens to travel to their hometowns or other provinces during the upcoming Pchum Ben Festival. These buses will be available for five days, from 30 September to 4 October.
Please be informed that the Pchum Ben Festival will take place from 18 September to 3 October 2024.
