2. Samdech Thipadei advised all relevant institutions and units to continue enhancing collaboration in line with the 'Dynamics of the Stakeholder System' approach by fulfilling their functions and responsibilities through vibrant, synergistic, and complementary cooperation and coordination, to further enhance the momentum of the development of Cambodia's port into a highly competitive regional hub.

The Ministry of Public Works and Transport, the Preah Sihanouk Provincial Administration, and all relevant units shall better fulfil their respective duties, particularly in maintaining the newly achieved milestone of the 'Additional Container Terminal with a Length of 253 Meters at the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port'.
Please note that the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port is the primary deep-sea port of the Kingdom of Cambodia, covering an operational area of approximately 125 hectares. Located in the Gulf of Kampong Som, it is the only deep-sea port in the country, benefiting from natural maritime conditions such as deep waters, islands, and favourable wind and wave patterns, which reduce the need for regular dredging.
The port was originally constructed in early 1956 and has undergone continuous expansion. It now features eight berths, all equipped with state-of-the-art lifting equipment, installed over the past five consecutive years.
