Phnom Penh (FN), Sep. 10 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet received a courtesy call by Jacco Van Der Linden, Heineken's President for the Asia Pacific Region, on Tuesday (Sep. 10) at the Peace Palace.

During the meeting, Jacco Van Der Linden provided an update on Heineken's business operations in Cambodia over the past 30 years and expressed his gratitude to the relevant Cambodian ministries and institutions for their cooperation and past support.

He also reaffirmed Heineken’s commitment to continuing its investment in Cambodia, adhering to local laws and regulations, contributing to consumer protection, and upholding corporate social responsibility, including environmental sustainability.

For his part, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet thanked Heineken for its trust and confidence in investing in Cambodia, contributing to the country’s socio-economic development, and creating both direct and indirect employment opportunities over the past three decades.

The premier also underlined the Royal Government’s ongoing efforts to ensure an attractive investment climate by introducing laws, regulations, and comprehensive measures to enhance competitiveness, support the success of existing investors, and attract new ones.
